I have been following the forum for a bit now, and am happy to be creating my first post. I've read the Millionaire Fastlane 4 times already and it has given me the necessary jolt I needed to do something about my current situation.
From graduation to now I have been through two fortune 500 companies, working 45-60 hour weeks, trading 5 for 2 in the defense industry.
A big "THANK YOU" to MJ for writing such an amazing book! It has changed my life completely!
I am currently in the process of concentrating my efforts on only one project. I am creating a business - to - business application platform and presently getting a marketing explainer video created. I already filed the LLC and the app should be releasing in the next few months.
I wanted to reach out to community for input on a few of the questions I have. Any input/ideas would be greatly appreciated! Here we go...
1) I am already getting the marketing video done, but...then what? I know I have to set up a Google AdWords campaign and target certain videos being watched on YouTube, but what else? I am not well versed in marketing for an App, especially an App not targeting "consumers" but small business owners. I am crippled in social media marketing. Any beneficial sites that can help or advice on getting my App out there would be awesome!
2) The website I am creating is run with PHP, and I am not sure if an App is crucial to create prior to launching the platform. I can make my website mobile compatible, so should I spend time converting it to an App before I launch and get some type of proof of concept first? I have heard of Zend for easily transforming PHP sites to mobile apps, but is there anything else anyone has used?
3) Paypal would be my default payment processor, but would this be considered hitchhiking? Should I invest time in integrating my own? Trust with information could be an issue...
