Hello everyone,
Just wanted to take a minute to re-introduce myself as it's been a long time since I've been on the forum. I'm female, 50's, from Canada.
Years ago, I invented a small consumer product, ended up manufacturing and selling it in N. America and online across the world.
It was an eye opening experience to say the least. Really loved the problem solving aspect to it but came to realize the real problem solving in every business is SELLING. Cash flow rules in all situations.
I ended up selling the business for a paltry sum but am proud that the product is still being sold today, albeit poorly.
Fast forward 2 decades and other break-even ventures, we've transitioned into running a small construction business. Sales are ok and we love working hard ( blue collar/farming background) but now we're at a point where we've stupidly ended up without a saleable asset/business. We've decided that my partner will continue with that business and I will start something else that will follow the productocracy roadmap.
Looking forward to reading, learning and interacting with all the like minded people on here.
