I have been a fan of MJ DeMarco's for a long time. I didn't exactly have an orange copy of TMF , but I have listen to the book 9 times. I have now listened to Unscripted for the 2nd time. Going in for my third.
I have been trying and trying to think of a business for the last three years since I read TMF that would satisfy all of the commandments and satisfy the law of affection. Maybe that is my downfall, but that is why I never joined the forum. I thought I would have to be a successful fastlaner to join the forum. I see now that it could have helped me.
Last month, my Familial team came up with an idea for an App for food trucks. We have been working on the idea for a month now and have been taking paid pre signups for the App in return for magnets for the food trucks and credit when the App launches. We have 9 trucks in our "Founders Club" as we are calling it, and we hope to get many more over the course of the next two months while the App is in production. I am so excited about all of this that we have been doing. I can't wait for more and I look forward to letting you guys know the story as it continues!
