Hello all,
I read the book by MJ twice and perhaps when my semester is over I will read it a third time. I've read many threads on this forum and have been visiting it now and then for quite a while now. Here's some background about myself:
- 20 year old undergrad student currently in my junior year working on a small business entrepreneurship degree (new major at my school)
- may be around ~$75,000 in debt when I graduate in approximately 1.5 years, in 2 years I will have to make payments
- only other bills I have to pay for are cellphone and gym bill, will be able to move back in with rents after college
- I stock shelves at a grocery store making $10/hour and the option is occasionally there to work with my father doing mason/roofing/landscaping services
So here's my dilemma, one that is all too common amongst undergrads across the country. I will be graduating with $75,000 from a state school with a job after college (if I'm lucky to find one) making $25,000-$40,000. This is not how I want my life to start out and I realized this almost immediately entering college, that I need to work out some kind of a plan to work on eradicating this debt immediately.
In this thread I will detail ideas, thoughts, jobs, etc. I come across as I think of them. Feel free to contribute ideas / possible career paths or if you need more information, let me know. I could definitely use some help. Thanks!
