I was reading earlier and discovered a paradigm shift attached to goals.
Sometimes, when I set a large goal, it seems like it's too big for me to expect, or at least in the near future.
When I silence my doubting mind, and come to expect that goal will become mine, it's more powerful. All else is wishful thinking. If I look back at any worthwhile achievement of mine, I see that I boldly said that I would do it, and I figured out the way.
This often leads to physically plotting out how you're going to achieve it, and how it can be done in what time frame. This of course solidifies your plans towards its attainment, and lets you set specific milestones.
For instance. If you want to be a able to hit a certain milestone, you can break it down into the weeks, days, and hours that it will take, and the process, or you could see how much you need to do before each amount of time passes.
How do you all set goals and strive for them?
I know it can be helpful to create the ideal lifestyle you want, instead of actual specific milestones, and I know some people have been successful doing this.
But I'd like to see what other types of approaches exist for Fastlaners!
