I'm about 1 year away from finishing college with a BS in Mechanical Engineering. I've got to admit, I don't want to finish. I just want to drop out and get started on my fast track journey.
Right now I'm interning at a Fortune 500 company, and they have offered me a job as an associate engineer once I graduate. I've come to realize that I will be signing away my future if I do.
The past few years I've been trading stocks and precious metals to try to get myself on what I thought was the fastlane. It has been pretty slow to be honest, with returns that haven't been beating the S&P average.
The first book that set me free was the 4-hour workweek. Everything Tim said about not being a slave to a 9-5 workweek for the rest of my life was what I was looking for. The Millionaire Fastlane was also instrumental in freeing my mind. Mj's 5 commandments will definitely come in handy, and he snapped me back to reality on just how tough of a battle I have ahead of me if I want to work a 9-5, save, invest, and beat inflation in order to retire with the purchasing power of today's millions.
I'm interested in starting my own business selling information. I am a huge fan of Eben Pagan -a marketing millionaire who made his wealth of a dating advice ebook- because he seems to have his whole life together and he runs a successful internet company. I would like to find a niche just as he did, and dominate it by creating massive value and using superior marketing.
Anyway, I'm here to learn. I guess I'll work on getting my degree and this business at the same time... Then once I get the BSME, I'll focus 100% on my business. Cheers.
