For as long as I can remember I have wanted to realize the dream of owning my own company, but to date I haven't been able to get an idea off the ground. I have had several exciting ideas, but I don't know where to start.
My name is Caleb, and I live in a small town in northern Pennsylvania. I am 35 years old, and was laid off almost a year ago now. I came to the realization that my time is now, and as I began doing some due diligence, I came across this site. I am quite excited about what I have already read, and the knowledge pool that is before me. Thank you MJ DeMarco, and staff. I look forward to picking your brains, if willing, to fulfill the gaps in my skill set, and begin building my financial independence.
I have spent the past 10+ years building others financial independence, and have had great personal reward in doing so. However, I have been unable to build any type of nest egg, and has made things very difficult in getting started.
My short term goal is to form a family company in the sports industry. We are currently searching for a piece of undeveloped land to develop a sports complex, with a focus on elite travel teams, and elite (organization) tournaments. Starting this venture would be a full time job for the short term, and will be pursuing real estate investing thereafter. These ventures fit my skill set as a project coordinator, and management perfectly, and again, look forward to the fulfillment of knowledge that I am lacking from you folks.
