So today is my 41st Birthday and I just finished reading The Millionaire Fastlane . I started on Monday and couldn't stop until I reached the end.
It's interesting 'cause I do have what most would consider a very successful career. Engineer from one of the top universities in the country, international MBA, Director at a large consulting firm, beautiful healthy family... And yet, I've been getting this pit in my stomach in the last couple of years because I feel I haven't been living up to what I truly could do.
On one hand, TMF is a brick thrown in my little beautiful glasshouse. Checking all the boxes in the Slowlaner criteria. On the other hand, only truth can set us free... So today begins a new journey. I'm gonna read Unscripted and the Rat Race next, and deeply reflect on it. Looking forward to seeing where the next 12 months of my life take me. I'll try to post here on my next b-day
BTW - it's a shame TMF and the others haven't been translated to Portuguese. I really feel if people here got it, really got it, could make a huge difference in the future of this country. Oh well.
