Hello everyone, my name is Bill and currently I reside in Chicago. I have been drawn to this community through the two brilliant books of MJ DeMarco. Those tomes resonated with me overwhelming my internal 'bell' until it cracked. Having had several growing ventures which succumbed to C.E.N.T.S. violations, especially control, I finally hit the wall with a stroke. With enforced downtime introspection commenced to really understand how I kept building up big success only to get blown up.
Enter the book Unscripted . I recognized all the topics and thinking behind them from personal experience but realized I had not dug sufficiently deep in the post mortem analysis of my scaling stage businesses gone awry. After the CENTS commandments explanation sunk in my neck top processor went wild - flashing lights, alarms blaring and clarity was found. The 'aha' moment was humbling as it was really a 'duh' moment. So now I begin again armed with the formula to vet before my toil starts.
So why am I here? Well, to learn how to be more productive whilst solving problems that serve a need which helps others. And to contribute to the best of my ability hoping to add some value to the community.
