….but for fellow fastlaners who couldn’t make the jump to Phoenix, here below is the MustImprove highlight hacks list (abridged) from the 2016 meetup in Phoenix Arizona.
Of course, ONE hack hardly does the speakers justice, but hey, I said it was abridged, an y’all are busy fastlaning. Right?

Keep the behavioural gap between you and your audience to a minimum.
Beliefs - @Kung Fu Steve
A master of lightning moves and focus – yep, I saw his dance with @Red!
Your belief system reinforces upwards and downwards.
Get yourself on the upswing quickly, and make a point of reinforcing positive beliefs followed by positive action.
Presentations - @splok
A professor who tells you to cheat and take shortcuts whenever you can. Now that’s cool!
Folks like to learn from someone one-level above them. You don’t need to be a master to add value.
Effectiveness @Red
A real estate agent you can love, and a fantastic organiser to boot – what’s not to like?
Never accept a no from someone who can’t say yes.
Hiring - @kamanuci
The Sun Tzu of the VA hiring process. “He will win whose army is animated by the same spirit throughout all its ranks”. Too right!

A great natural speaker dropping marketing bombs, and with enough patience to tolerate GlobalWealth’s abuse for 3 days….surely close to sainthood!
You have to add real value. Don’t settle for minor tweaks…….find a genuine improvement in current products that will give you a forceful USP. Bang on.
“Little Known Secret” - @MJ DeMarco
Who was this guy?.....doesn’t matter, he seemed to know what he’s talking about. Well done @Red for letting him speak.
Skew the battleground in your favour. Drill down to the most important product/service attributes for your customers.
Find your opponents weakest attributes and attack the market there.
PPC - @Travis Phipps
Generous, friendly, intelligent, yep, that’s @BaraQueenbee !..... but Travis ain’t bad either. A true gentleman who crammed 6 weeks worth of value into 45 awesome minutes. We salute you sir!
PPC can 10x your business in months. Define your CPC, CPA, and get spending.
Branding - @AllenCrawley
A man leading by example, laying out his biblical commandments for success. Number 1) – buy good cigars. Now you know.
Deliver that emotional connection for your customers. Find something that evokes emotion. Conjure sensations in their imagination and you’ll be ready to close like bored barman on a cold Sunday.

Our friendly neighbourhood Viking super hero. The magic of execution execution execution. He created something from nothing more times than David Copperfield. What. A. Star.
It doesn’t matter if you know jack about nuttin. You can learn and get it done. It’s all about your attitude and execution.

A wonderful example of a next-gen American entrepreneur. Blessed with youth that makes Bieber look octogenarian, @Envision achieved more in 3 years than most “grown ups” do in 3 decades.

He negotiates like Mother Theresa, and is as kind and generous as Walmart…….. Wait, that might have got switched somehow. Oh well, shouldn’t drink scotch before doing something important. Bad habit! Now where did I get that from?
You can find licensing for your product. You don’t just need to find a product for the licensing. Massive massive mindset shift that can blow-up your product to a national level…..and maybe beyond.
Inspiration - @Boom
Humility and integrity combined with more motivation than Ford and Chevy can muster. @Boom whips excuses out of you like a Harlem mother catching her 10 year old smoking weed. More grease to your elbow chief!
Work on your business, not in your business….and read like a librarian on speed buddy!
Plus a bonus…your background ain’t the reason you’re failing.

More open and honest than a drunk in confessional with the Pope, and he delivers sterling work for charity too. Jeeez Louise, your parents must be so proud.
Go for less competition, and setup your product processes so that it’s more difficult for competitors to copy you.
Buying Web Businesses - @DaveC
Analytical, entrepreneurial, @DaveC snaffles web based opportunity like a post-hibernation hamster at a “Nuts Are Us” field day. Luckily for us he shared the treats!
Your “hit rate” for good deals will be about 1/250 on your own, but you can improve that with a team. So get hunting, and get crunching them numbers folks!
Digital “Nomading” - @GlobalWealth
Drawing on years of refined linguistic articulation, diction, and enunciation, “I don’t give a f$#k” @GlobalWealth is available for children’s party bookings at short notice.
……..I’ll let you into a secret though….he really does care, he wants to give you a life of your dreams. Thanks man.Property Management is the hardest part of remote real estate. Don’t go cheap here, and invest the time/effort to get a good property manager. You won’t regret it.
Outsourcing - @GIlman
Another MD with more energy than a white dwarf. Hey, there’s 24 hours in a day and you only need to sleep for 2 right? Gilman finds quality people, and follows up with more loyalty than a labrador……Ahhhhhh.
Leverage the differences between economies. With good people this multiplies your power tremendously.
Tech hacks - @Chadi
A geeks geek, @Chadi has tuned and automated his life so much that his only task in a day is to push F1. Alarm clock, F1, money in the bank……bang, that’s it….and now we can all be a little more optimized too. Thanks!
Use Last Pass password manager. It automates passwords and can allow VAs to use a password without the VA knowing the password. Good stuff.
Lifestyle - @Sean Marshall – Emitting high intensity doses of zen, peace, calm, and no little modesty, @ Sean Marshall was a Fastlane tornado. A centre of inner tranquillity and oneness, surrounded by a battering whirling mean machine of amplified and leveraged execution. Cool man….real cool.
Process Process Procees >>> System System System >>>> Team Team Team ….that’s all you need for the lifestyle you dream of. Get jiggy people!
So that’s it from Phoenix folks. It’s been a blast.
I am finishing this off from the Sky Harbour Terminal, and the timing couldn’t be better. If I can bang this onto the forum before the flight is called I’ll be dead chuffed and enjoy the flight home even more.
I truly hope this adds some value for you. The wisdom from the weekend was immense (thanks thanks thanks), and if you can take just 20% of it away you can still build an outlier business that blows your contemporaries into the weeds.
Huge kudos to all involved and attending for a very special event. Without exception you are superior ladies and gentlemen.
