I know, I know....
It's not about "doing what you love." I get it. I've read both MF and Unscripted and 100% get the message and concepts.
But what I've discovered is that it's certainly a bit easier to spur yourself into action when the actions line up with your true values. I'm not saying what people *say* their values are. But what their values truly represent. I've said for years that I want a remote or scalable business online. In that time I've had multiple attempts where I just sort of ran out of gas or got burnt out before I was able to create any kind of serious traction.
I've come to realize that a big part of the reason I've sputtered so hard in multiple attempts with different ideas and concepts has nothing to do with the ideas themselves. But a large swath of the scalable and remote business sphere revolves around spending a bunch of time in front of a computer. And the more honest I am with myself the more I have come to realize that I much rather enjoy working in an environment where I'm going different places, doing slightly different things and actually *physically* moving around.
Going and sitting in front of a computer from 9-5 and then coming home and sitting in front of a computer again for hours uninterrupted sounds like hell.
I'm curious if any of the more successful contributors here have encountered this issue and if so how they have navigated it.
