I am looking for some information about importing home appliances, specifically a home heating unit. I have a contact in Eastern Europe that manufacturs a home heating unit that uses about 50% less electricity than a traditional air-to-air heat exchanger. It also has basically zero moving parts, makes no sound, and is much smaller making it easier to locate and install in various places in a home.
It is really a very cool product and costs about the same as the traditional air-to-air units so price is no barrier.
I am looking for info about importing this item and selling it wholesale to contractors and/or distributors. I don't know the legal implications of this type of product though. If anyone has any suggestions or connections, I would appreciate it.
