Hi,
Just found this place yesterday and am looking for some good info. I am creating a paramedic charting app due to personal frustration with the current options out there. I am a paramedic with ZERO programming experience. I have a mock up and oddly enough a department to test the device, but no one to build it.
That's my problem. I had a local freelance guy who turned out to be a complete basket case due to personal issues or whatever was his issue, so that ended rather quick. I'm meeting with a company Friday to get a better quote and see how much this is actually gonna run me. I'm in a position where I'm looking for an actual CTO. Someone to handle the tech side of things. This has amazing potential as I am the actual end user and would know.
I'm in Denver and at the point where things need to start happening on a larger scale. I've looked on cofounderslab.com with minimal interest and am having a hard time getting this built so far. Once I get it built then what? I still need a networking guy to help set this beast up. So paying someone a bunch of money to make it would only be a small part of the battle.
Oh the other issue, I'm a paramedic. We average 35-40k so I'm not exactly sitting on a pile of money.
Mike
