Hi! I'd just like to thank you for allowing me to be a part of this community.
I currently live in a particularly rough neighbourhood in London, growing up, I always had one thing on my mind, getting out of here and making it big. From a young age, it was drilled into me that without an education, I was nothing and that no money could be made without a degree - period. I performed well up until my first year of A levels, that's when I initially started to realise that all the effort I was putting into my subjects was in vain. People who had no common sense or initiative were achieving 90% across their subjects consistently. The event that triggered this was a guy who was a straight A student in Biology, Chemistry and Math who seriously thought the scientific name for male breasts were 'testicles.'
Anyway I guess that's besides the point. I want to become successful. I want financial freedom. I don't want to be trapped in a shitty 9-5 life slaving away and giving away half of what I earn to pigs who will end up spending it on policies which I don't support anyway.
I plan on buying the book when I get the cash - is it a good buy?
