Hey everyone,
I posted a few other things, but I guessed I skipped an important step of an introduction.
I am 27. I have a Business Degree and I am a Chartered Accountant (Canadian version of CPA)
I have been working in the same firm for 7 years. I went to school at night and on weekends so I didn't go into any debt while in school. I started working here after 2nd year by landing a paid internship. That is where I began my life in the slowlane, which then translated into being on the sidewalk.
Because I started working so young I always thought I was AHEAD of the game, by the time I was 22 I bought my first apartment, and now I recently got married and sold and bought a new apartment.
Growing up I always thought I would be rich. I used to right down business ideas, but I never executed any of them. Until I read this book, I started giving up on the dream and started to think that the slowlane was my path.
I earn a decent salary, but I spend EVERY penny of it and then some.
Your book and this forum has lit a fire under me. I hope to be beneficial contributor to this forum.
Lets see how this chapter unfolds....
