Hello All,
I am new here and wanted to post a little intro.. I will try to keep it short and sweet.
I am a 36yr old project manager in residential construction. I am married with 2 young daughters.
Recently read Mj's book and it really hit home. He has a way of articulating the truth like no other. A no BS, no excuses type of guy, which I really admire. Until recently I had all but given up on my entrepreneurial aspirations.
I am doing ok financially right now, but I'm smart enough to see that this whole "system" is rigged, and all it would take is the boss deciding that I'm "redundant", or another 2008 (or worse) to destroy me. This is something I realized long ago, but never felt confident enough to do something about it. Its not a good feeling not being in control or privy to all the inside information.
Anyway, it is my dream to be in CONTROL of my financial life and to create a system or process to make that happen. Like many others I'm sure, every time I get a good idea, I research it and its been done or patented..But I'm not going to give up until I figure this thing out. Looks like a bunch of great people here and I hope to learn/contribute as much as I can.
