Hello everyone! I'd just like to introduce myself to all of you guys. My name is Jarred, and i have a fastlane mindset just like most of you here. I am a professional guitarist and musician. I have been self-employed for the past 4 years and have realized that i have been limiting myself. Much like the personal trainer reference in MJ's book, i know that giving personal guitar lessons isn't hitting on any level of scale. I could teach 40 students per week and charge $75 per hour and still be unbelievably limited. I am in the process of forming an online business for marketing my services which go far beyond teaching music. It is currently in development, and i just had a few questions for some of you business veterans. I am torn between starting an s corp or an llc. Any advice on which one proves to be the better choice for an online business? I'll probably be using a third party source like Paypal for collecting my profits, but i also might receive direct payments if i collect from a particular business in my state. I had a good talk with my accountant today and we discussed pros and cons from both sides. When it comes to tax and legal purposes, i am relatively new to this process and i was just curious if any of you guys have had experience working a similar avenue. Thanks!
