Hey there!
This is Miguel, a 20 year old student who, fascinated by TMF, has decided to venture himself in an entrepreneurial journey.
I believe I might be happy doing the job I'm planning to do - I would like to do research in bioengineering. Job that, while might not give me millions of dollars, I feel it would be a pleasure to do on a daily basis. I would be a happy - and free - person doing it.
However, I'm also feeling a deep passion toward entrepreneurship. The money is fine, but the more I read about it, the more I fall in love with the process of conceiving your own company.
I heard it could take you around 6 years to drive the Fastline - which is kind of the same amount of time it would take me to finish graduate school and be ready to do some research. And both paths, I'm sure, require a considerable amount of commitment. So I might be delusional, but I will try to follow both careers at the same time. We will see how it goes. At some point one might triumph over the other one, and I will take a decision.
As for now, my plans are: spend 4-6 months reading as much as I can about business and entrepreneurship, while at the same time saving for a fund. Then spend 3 months planing and considering my ideas and options. And after around 9 months, I should start formally something.
Wish me luck, and I will post future discoveries!
