I found that forum a few weeks ago and the content seems pretty interesting. I decided to try learning from other's experiences.
Introducing myself is not as easy as I first thought. Having English as a mother tongue would probably help
Who I am
I'm a 31 years old, French canadian and in a relationship for now 12 years (if that matters).
What I did
In 2006, I got a bachelor's degree in business administration (IT management) at a local University in Quebec.
In 2009, I got a MBA at USF (Tampa, FL).
I have more than 10 years of experience in IT, more precisely in insurance company and public health.
What I do
Two years ago, I decided I've spent enough efforts for enriching others. It was time for me to become a freelancer. Since I did that move, my incomes more than doubled (150% in fact).
What I want to do
I have now saved some money and looking for investment, buying real estate or building recreational housing for rental incomes. In fact, I'm looking for ways to safely use my money, I want to get away from the slow lane
I'm also building a Web application for a friend's business. I don't think that would make me rich but I can probably sell some licenses and make a few money with it.
In the near future, I'd also like to go back to Florida and try finding a good job there. Since I need to get sponsored by an employer for being able to get a H1 visa, I don't think it'll work out.
What are my expectations from this forum?
I just want to share about investment tips and opportunities. If I'm lucking enough, I may find here the motivation to stop procrastinating my life!
