My name is Steve. I consider myself to be a "serial entreprenuer". I own and operate an accounting and tax firm. Which I have built and grown over the last 14 years. I invested some years ago in a self storage facility in my home town and now I own two. I am a shareholder in a retail store that sells QVC overstocks and returns that operates out of a building on one of my self storage properties. And in the last month I have partnered with a former client to start a corporate event planning company to do large scale company picnics, holiday parties and fundraising events thoughout the southeast.
I have spent many hours on this site over the past year or so...sorry for the lurking. I always find the information insightful and inspiring. I find that I am most engaged at the start up phase of any new business, so I have recently made the decision to sell my accounting practice and work on building companies. I figured I better come on board and participate in the Fastlane to offer any experiences I've had, but most importantly to learn from others doing the same thing.
I look forward to being an active participant in the Fastlane.
