Hello everyone! I've been on the forum for a couple of weeks but I felt it's time for a formal introduction.
I've been working in hospitality industry since I graduated the university in 2005. I am originally from Poland but I lived in Florida for 7 years and just recently moved to NYC. A couple of months ago I decided to do something with my life and use some of the free time on a project that would result in getting some extra income.
So that day, I went on Amazon and looked at the reviews of enterprenuership books and TMF came up first or one of the top ones, so I bought it. I am glad I did
First of all, the book is really easy to read. Once I sat down to ready it I couldn't stop until I was done. Everything in the book is so logical. It definitely opened my eyes.
I have always wanted to have my own business, preferably internet based that would give me freedom. I tried MLMs, vitamin selling, travel agency, real estate sales. All failures. I made all the mistakes possible. Beginning with starting a business not because there was a need for it but because I wanted to do what I like. Ending with focusing more on the website and business cards than on getting clients. So I gave up trying. Until now.
I have a project I'm working on right now. Hopefully it will come to life within a month or two. I truly believe there is a need for it. I came up with it while working at my current job. I got some inspiration from MJ as I am thinking lead generation. I will post more details in another thread as I will need some advice.
