Hi everyone!
I've been at forum for some time, but just decided to introduce myself. Actually I don't know why now

I'm 24 years old. Originally from Belarus, but 8 years ago I moved to Poland. I finished dentistry school in Poland (yep, I'm a dentist), but I hate this job so much (choice of my parents and dream of exchange my time for bigger money than other people). I did well for student (1000$ a month for some Russian-Polish translations).
But year ago I finally did something crazy and something what I really wanted to do. Me and my girlfriend moved to Paris. She was proposed for a job here, so I've just decided, that it will be a nice adventure. Living in a city of my dreams and having 24 hours of free time it will be an easy to focus on building a business. At beginning I did well - some money were in my pocket (500-1000 euros). But for last 8 months I earn 0,00 and live for my girlfriend's money. Fortunately, it don't cause problems for our relationships. Mostly because of true love (and it isn't just beautiful words - I really didn't believe that it's possible), maybe because of my "perspective", because everybody waits for me to go back to dentistry after another year of "doing nothing". Problem is - after this time I forget mostly of medical knowledge and don't pretty sure that I could be a dentist again (maybe after reading some books for a year, but there will be a BIG lack of motivation).
Last 8 months were marked by a light depression for me. I started to have issues with alcohol, that I hiding from everyone. And just last month I realized that it's my choice. That nobody will help me and put me out of this. I started to take exercise, jogging and I'm clean for 10 days. There's no more depression. And I finally started to work on my business.
Considering my total inability to speak French (I know, it's a shame after 1 year in a country - I started ambitiously to learn language) and I have no friends here (except co-workers of my girlfriend) - a list of possible niches is short. I thought about ecommerce store in Poland and Russia, countries that I know, but it's hard to make it remotely (just an excuse).
As for know I study a lot from Dan Kennedy (marketing and mostly info-marketing/coaching). And so I start to build a coaching/consulting business - marketing consulting for dentists, who don't want to work 16 hrs a day for some money.
And I would like to sell something physical too, but as I mentioned - it's hard to do remotely.
Another problem, and the biggest one, my lack of self-discipline and persistence. Maybe that's why I still didn't start a progress thread - I just don't want to disappoint your trust and waste your time on me.
But in process of time it becomes more clear for me - success in business is only my option. Otherwise I'll pick in teethes of my patients (even for good enough money) for the rest of my life. Nice. That's why I'm here - to read your topics, find some inspirations, contribute something helpful and maybe find some friends in Paris.
