Hey everyone,

I was recently introduced to the Millionaire Fastlane, and because I liked it so much, I read the entire book in one day. I liked the concepts in that it promotes scalable businesses AND working hard -- something that I didn't get from books like the 4HWW.

Anyways, I'm 22 Years Old and just graduated from university in Philly. I studied Entrepreneurship for 4 years there, and after graduating, I realized how little I actually learned from classes. The most knowledge I benefitted from was working for a tech startup CEO, where I designed an MVP and prototype for a now-rising video interviewing software. Additionally, I have been doing freelance web design since high school just to make the occasional buck.

Over the course of college, though, I started to delve into my social skills...a lot. I had a huge amount of social anxiety in high school, and with some help of a couple mentors and businesses, I "broke out of my shell" and became much more comfortable with myself. My skills with the ladies also went up ten-fold, which was something I could have only dreamed about in high school. This is something now that I want to teach to others, so I started a personal development blog back in January and have been growing it slowly ever since (has about 300 subscribers at the moment).

Through the blog, I started to develop a brand for myself and just started doing social coaching on the side. This presents me with a couple of things that I'm working on:

1) my income is still tied to my time, thus it's not scalable. But this, along with web design, brings in income for me to pay the bills (~$1,000/month). So, I'm doing a webinar next week on social skills that I'm planning to turn into a product if I get enough interest (validation phase).

2) I'm identifying a lot with my work as a reflection of me. Because my brand is tied to me through the blog, it's been an interesting journey with how I see myself. It makes me question whether or not I'm able to teach social skills/attraction/personal development stuff because it's something that I'm still working on. Am I better than a lot of people? Yes. Can I help people? Yes. But I don't want people to see me as a "social skills/attraction guru" or something like that because it makes me feel sleezy. This is holding me back, and makes me question whether or not I should start a business in something that I'm too attached to.

But now that I'm graduated, I realized how much I can't mess around anymore if I want to reach my goal of true freedom. In order to fulfill this dream, I bought a plane ticket to Boulder, CO and signed a lease to house, where I invited a bunch of software entrepreneurs to come live with me. I'm excited for this, because it will be a great environment to learn and work hard in. I move in 2 weeks.

Overall, I'm ready to work my a$$ off. It's something that I never got growing up because I was able to get by fairly easily, but times are changing now that I want to make something of myself. I joined this forum because I know everyone here has something I can learn from, and I will share what I learn along the way to help others as well.

Rock on,
