Hi there everybody I finished listening to the book about three weeks ago and I loved it. I listened on the train, on my bicycle, in my car, while bathing, just every single moment I had the chance to. This is by far the best book I've read on the subject of entrepreneurship. I also bought the paperback.
A big thank you MJDemarco!! It changed my mindset and I'm already taking action...
Over the past few years I collected about 60 business idea's. I executed a couple of them but the most I've made from a single idea is 500$ (all online businesses)
After completing the book, I went through my idea's to choose my next venture, this time armed with the CENTS acronym. You know what? I had to trash ALL my ideas, every idea violated at least one commandment.
But then what happened is I started having new and better idea's. In fact I identified a pain in my current job. I'm working as an IT system administrator of a company in the architecture industry with about 120 employees. I have 120 computers and 13 servers and a host of services and software under my direct responsibility.
It took me a while to settle down, but now I have a family and a 2.5 year old son, good health and a couple of hours a day to work on my next business!
I'm from a city called "Leuven", home of a huge beer company formally called "Interbrew" , with a beer called "Stella Artois" having the roots tracing back all the way to 1366 here in Leuven. Interbrew merged with Ambev and then Anheuser-Busch.
Leuven is about 25km/15miles form the capital of Belgium: Brussels in the heart of Europe! 3 hours driving from Amsterdam, London or Paris.
