i am a 30 year old husband and father that lives on the coast of north carolina. my life has been easy for the most part, i.e. (college paid for, lived at home to save lots of money, travel) but now that i have a kid, i need to hustle. i read lots of entreprenuership books all the time. i have bought some websites to make some money with, but i havent pulled the trigger. i have been a saver my whole life and the most frugal person ever. (i lived off $500 bucks in 4 months in central america by eating bananas everyday, just so i wouldnt have to spend money). my biggest problem is trying to do the work myself and finding a mentor who will put me on the right track. i am also very terrified of spending money, thus causing me never to "sack-up" and make things happen. i actually have a great job where i work nights and weekends, but i mkae just enought ot get by and i am a stay at home dad on the weekedays, so i am luckier than most. my wife works a 9-5 job, 40 hours a week. we just bought a house, and i have done the stocks, ira, 401k,, but now i want the fast lane approach. im looking to talk to anyone about anything. i love a challenge! if anyone has any questions, please let me know.
p.s. i am in the process of looking to develop apps, e commerce, software etc. i have outsourced on odesk, elance, but have had limited results due to communication(foreigners english wasnt very well). just needs some help or advice.
there isnt much industry on the nc coast, other than beach tourism, and real estate. sometimes i feel like its impossible to make a name for myself here in what i want to do, which is become a creator and inventor, without having a bunch of cash!
