Hello Forum.
My name is Shawn i am 38 and when im not touring the country with a Broadway musical I live in the Lehigh valley area of Pennsylvania.
i found this forum during a manic phase when i was consuming as much information about finance, entrepreneurship, side hustling etc etc etc as i possible could, and it was while looking for a review on a online appliance flipping program i found this site,it was eye opening to find so much quality information available here.
My job and schedule is a bit out of the norm, when i am on the road which can be anywhere from 3 months to 10 months i work 6 or 7 days a week and on these days i work between 5 hours and 17 hours. when I am done with a show I am home for months at a time.
And while this schedule and lifestyle worked when I was 20 something now that i'm 38 and have a 3 month old daughter i crave the freedom to be home to watch her grow up.
Having previously fallen down the rabbit hole that is "get rich quick" books, website and seminars I had thought i had a bevy of ideas and plans to get rich, what i had was a blueprint to live on the slowlane, which is why the new ideas MJ put down in his two books which have been nothing short of mind blowing. i realized part way through the Millionaire Fastlane that while i wasn't doing the talked about 5 days for 2 days equation i was trading 8 months on for 4 months off which is just as bad.
i have rambled a bit..
going forward i want to harness my next 5 years in the pursuit of the freedom to dictate how, when, and where i spend my time.
