Hi Fastlane Community,
I am very pleased to be here. After researching everything I could find in the online jungle matching the broad 'how to make money online' concept since last April, I have reached some conclusions. One is that this is the best forum I have found so far regarding this subject. Other conclusion is that there are actually next to unlimited ways to get an income online. However, there are two concrete ways I find the most beginner-friendly (and nearly zero capital investment required). These are freelancing and dropshipping through a major ecommerce platform, such as eBay and Amazon.
Last three weeks I started 'taking action', setting up two eBay stores and posting some freelance services as a SEO writer and translator on fivesquid.com, reddit, and Boonle, and writing some articles on iWriter.com. Still, it is going quite slow. I haven't made any sale yet on eBay (one account is new and it is very restricted), although I keep on listing approx. ten new products every day. iWriter initial earnings are quite miserable as well, and I haven't got any answers from any of the freelance jobs platforms. Now I will try out Upwork. Don't want to use Fiverr as I think it too saturated (though Upwork is too, probably), and it is harder to scale prices up.
I have found many insightful post on this forum, like one of @Fox about learning fast programming languages and getting well-paid jobs designing websites for companies, or another one of @SinisterLex on setting up an Upwork profile and getting jobs quickly focusing on the client's needs (valuable hints I will follow now, when I get started on Upwork).
Any advice you can give me will be highly appreciated. I have no income at the moment and all jobs offered in my region are very close to the strict definition of slavery. Also quite hard to find.
Thank you and regards!
