Let me introduce myself. I'm Ed, and I founded PRESENTUR, a presentation agency and speaker consultancy, back in 2004 in Munich. I help people like you with storytelling, presentations, and how to communicate effectively. It doesn't matter what you're presenting, but how you present it! Presentation is everything. Right?
My background is: I studied philosophy, advertising psychology, and rhetoric at the Ludwig-Maximilians-University in Munich. That gave me a knack for critical thinking, strategic communication, and always wondering how words can impact people.
I have also studied adult education, so I'm refined in the best ways to teach and learn. I love Instructional Design. I'm always looking for new training methods. I prefer the in-person experience, but I also think online videos and E-Learning can be great when combined with workshops.
Plus, I'm a certified behavior therapist and coach, trained in Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT). I help people modify their behavior in tough presentations and crucial conversations, like pitches or negotiations. It's all about understanding your feelings and using them to your advantage.
When I design workshops, I focus on the practical stuff. Theory is extremley important, but so is integrating and doing what you know. So, in my workshops, we'll apply storytelling and presentation skills to your own presentations or important conversations.
