I'm not sure exactly what it is that I'm doing here, but I'm hoping that being here leads me in the direction we are all seeking to go. I am also not sure if persons from my profession are even meant to be as successful as those we are trying to mimic. I am a woodworker/artist first, and the wealth I build from that experience comes or it doesn't. The only thing I can do is be the best I can at my craft, and hope the results are rewarding. I am hoping to gather as much information as I possibly can on how to use my skill to obtain wealth, although I feel as though I would be the first. I ask that you all bear with me and my lack of education as far as business goes. I realize that having skill has nothing to do with making wealth simply because wealth comes with sales, adequate marketing, people willing to help, and drive. I cannot sell my pieces unless someone buys them, and with that I cannot become recognized. I hope to learn from all of you what I need to do to achieve that recognition, to turn my life around, and to be able to make a living doing what I love to do without worry. Right now is the beginning, and all stepping stones placed hereafter need to be placed with care, to take me in the right direction. I am not here to solicit my work to you, I am here to seek information from you as to where to solicit, how to meet or make clients, how to use the internet to my advantage, etc. If you are willing to help it will be appreciated. If you are willing to heckle, I ask that you chose not to do so. My struggles thus far have made most of my recent life near unbearable, and it continues to do so. I chose this site as a way to move forward. Negetively attacking me will impact those steps, and possibly negetively effect the outcome. I ask that if you have something negetive or personal to say to me that you PM me, or simply walk away.
