Hello from Belgium,
I just finished reading the book from MJ. An enjoyable read. It really got me motivated. I discovered this forum a week ago. I read many threads (Vigilante, JScott, ...). The info gathered here is golden and inspiring. Congrats to MJ and to all the active members.
More info about myself: I'm a 24yo man coming from Belgium. I currently work for a large consulting firm. While most people see my career path as the normal thing to do after graduating from business school, I feel that this is not the right track for me. I can consider myself lucky as I don't have any student debts (Business School is almost free here).
After 2 years in the corporate world, I have had enough and want to start my own business. I saved like crazy during the first year and should have enough to last a full year while being unemployed. Now comes the hard part, starting the business...
The book made me realize that I followed the slowlaner's logic... It's time to move away from it.
I'm in the driver's seat and it's up to me to switch lanes
