I've been a member of Rob's make money with web design FB group for a while now. My core business is heavy haulage and tipper hire, I run a fleet of 6 lorries and cross hire on large civil engineering jobs across the South (UK).
I started 3 years ago with a telephone in my bedroom buying and selling tarmac and over the last few years have landed contracts that have allowed me to expand my business to the point where I'm now the biggest supplier of tarmac road planings in the UK. I have 15 full time staff and 3 part timers.
I run a side hustle of selling webdesign leads to local designers and sit them down with local farmers/contractors looking too upgrade their online presence. These are mainly customers I have already dealt with and have a good relationship with.
Rob's group is a great resource for webdesigners and he's pointed me in this direction for my offline business.
I hope I can add to the conversations on here and offer some help to those going through some of the issues I've encountered as well as take advice from you guys to help expand my own core business!
