Right now I am in the process of negotiating to buy an app (with all it's copyrights and resell rights) from a software developer.
For the selling price we have agreed on 18 months of prospective sales based on past sales plus a certain amount for the labor the developer has put into the app.
Since this is the first time that I do this, I was wondering, if there are members on this forum, that have experience or knowlege in this field.
The first thing I would need is a good contract, that protects both the seller and me.
Then we would have to find the best way for the payment and the transfer of all the material to me.
The whole process seems to be rather complicated, but I hope that at the end it will work out fine for the seller of the app and for me
