my name is Ivan and I come from Serbia (yes from Serbia...), and this is my story:
(Before I start please excuse me for my English, but I know that you will accept that, because I suppose that your Serbian is not much better, right?)
· How I came here?
I don’t know how exactly I have found this Fastlane site, but to tell you the truth I was thinking about my fast lane way in last year and half as well, but I didn't had free time or I was lazy or I've been ill or blah, blah... but I was always thinking about fast lane ideas , and time to time I have writen 'em down, so about month ago I was studding internet sites that are most popular, or with huge income or sites that are covering idea of fast growing business and I have found MJ's fastelane story which had support my ideas and gave me motivation to try and to built my family secure and independent sources for normal life.
· Who am I?
I'm ordinary 36 y.o. guy who everyday deals with how to stay alive and how to secure family, who works 10 hours daily, who is ill, who wants to live rest of life peacefully in joy and fun with his kids, but can't cause have to work 10 hours and travel to job 2 hours each day. After all I'm worried what will be with my little kids and how they will survive when I'm die.
· What I was doing for all this years?
I have finished economy college, but unemployment rate in my country was high so I started to work as bubs and rats exterminator when I was 20 and something y.o., after that I get a chance to work as driver, delivery guy, but all those jobs except some experience gave my only chance to earn money for some food. My first "decent" job was when I was 25 in US soda-drink company as sales representative, and it gave me experience of customer service, selling skills, and time management. After war I've passed to UK spirit and wine company first as sales representative, and after it as key account executive, this job started to give me some real earnings, but not enough to have save some money, my skills were upgraded as well. Few years after I’ve passed to leading cigarettes producer first on position of KA executive, than sales supervisor, and after it as training executive where was right place for me to get skills upgrade, and to gain new horizons. After it I've been promoted to regional distribution and logistic manager and I'm still on that position. BUT....
got it that I was trapped in so called secure life of corporate job, that in my country my salary is not enough to have some savings for bad days and all money we saved will go to doctors, that I don’t have any insurance in case of dead or illness because we didn’t have insurance companies in that period, and now when we have it non of insurance companies will give insurance policy because of my
heart problems. So my future and future of my family is depending of my salary and my ability to work. I’ve passed surgery, I’m working, but I’m not healthy, and still have some problems, and I will never be, I can’t go to retirement, I don’t have any additional rights compeered to healthy people… because new laws do not protect workers anymore, only companies. So I have to work as nothing happened, healthy or not, and if moment that I cant work cause of my health problems arise, we will be out of money and food in a month or two, and my children will be starving.
What’s wrong?
Everything is wrong.
International companies use people as working force, as part of machine, and when that parts crash, they find new people (new parts). My country is always in some war or near war, there is no protection of labor, syndicates, no social protection, no medical protection, nothing. We have bribed politicians and organized crime and powerful families are running economy in country, and they control complete business and market.
What I do not want?
I do not want to work for corporations any more. I do not want to leave my family unsecured. I do not want to spend my life in unproductive meetings and in making money for those who are going to let me and my family die in moment that I won’t be able to work any more.
I’m going to learn from people that have succeeded. I’m going to learn from people that failed to succeed. I’m going to learn from people that are trying do achieve it as I. I’m going to research global market, and global internet market, and consumer needs, and to make my own formula. And I’m going to give all my effort to start the business. In the first moment when the business starts to be alive I will leave my current job and start full time work on it.

Live life in full wings.
