Hey guys,
I've made an account here 1-2 years ago I don't remember it. During that time I've been "trying" business. Although it started out good with affiliate marketing then freelancing making some money, I got really greedy and wanted to jump from different business ideas to business models.
I did dropshipping and had unrealistic expectations of hitting it big right on the get-go because I had purchased a 2k course and I was on my way to easy money... I really want to slap my younger self in the face, really...
When I was trying to manage affiliate marketing, freelancing and dropshipping all at the same time it got to a point where I couldn't even think anymore trying to learn new skills to add in too. My affiliate marketing niche website didn't offer affiliate program anymore so no more money there (no control). I then decided to just focus on drop shipping and dropped copywriting freelancing. So now I am just doing one thing now.
Then I injured myself bad from going to the gym and trying to make every workout a beast (I am a lot smarter now). My foot was smashed from deadlifting 345lbs on the last set. I laid in bed for a couple months and instead of working on my dropshipping business I got depressed because I had given up on my affiliate website and freelancing that brought in some money. The injury added on to it since I couldn't go to the gym to release stress. I shut down my dropshipping website as well...
I had a really good friend who is now doing really well with his dropshipping business (he never gave up and understood process/value), but I haven't talked to him since the day I quit. I want to be successful again before I even talk to anyone, I feel really ashamed, even to write this intro.
After all that I decided to go out every weekend, chased girls. It was fun, but I always felt I wasted a lot of time.
I take full responsibility for all my actions.
this all happened last year.
Doing so much at once and not committing to one thing is probably still one of my greatest weakness. I just want it all, but I know better now and suppress the demons.
I've been reading books (just the good ones) and absorbing info instead of it going out the other ear. I'm learning and relearning important vital skills. I decided to start a print on demand merchandise store and know I need to make it to where I can control all aspects of it because as of right now I am using others to print my merch. I'm going to crawl and learn to walk then run then sprint.
This week finally understood a business is meant to serve people and give great value. A business is to help others, not all about my financial gains although I am now quite interested in Lamborghinis and nice apartments.
I wish I read more books when I first started out. Knowledge + actions make you feel great!
Happy to be here
