Hey!
So while tried to start a progress thread the forum told me to start an introduction-thread first, well here it is.
It got quite long, you won't have to read it all, I'll post the progress post after I've written it. Please roast me there, show me my mistakes.
Quick summary:
- New to entrepreneurship
- 21 years old, located in Berlin-Germany
- studying mathematics
How do I begin?
First, I am 21 years old and at the moment I study mathematics.
Why am I here?
When I was 17, still in school, I moved out of my mother's apartment, not because I wanted to, but because I couldn't bear it any longer, won't tell the reasons for that one here, because it's really private and got nothing to do with this forum.
So this is where I had my first real F*ck-this-moment. It was when I spent all of my 2k savings on living expenses, got really shit jobs, where I wasn't good at, and went to the state for money. In germany, if you have no job, the government will help you out with money. I'll never forget that moment, when I sat foot into that building, being looked at like I just impregnated my 16yo girlfriend, didn't do something for society and like I was just another piece of shit wanting to get money, which in some sense, I was. It sucked a$$. That's when I decided I'll get rich, live in a good home with my children and end this problem for my family and myself.
Back then, I didn't know about the fastlane, I thought most of todays richest people got it from living frugal for generations or having a real good corporate job. How stupid I was.
The thought of having a job as an actuary was one of the most satisfying I had, 40-50h workweek, enough of money to support a family, live good without money problems to the end of my days. And waste at least 52(weeks per year)*(40h)*40(years of working) = 83200h of my life to get other people rich while simultaneously not seeing my family or my friends in that time, I actually really liked that thought...
So I headed for math to become an actuary. This is where I learned quite a good lesson, while wasting two years for it, "Without extraordinary efforts, there aren't extraordinary results". Because I was good at school without effort, I thought I could be the same with math. Well wrong, it beat me up and showed me how I wasted 2 years of my time just trolling and chilling around doing few tests, passing even fewer. Probably the best lesson of my life.
The good thing, in the "chilling"-time I never forgot the money goal, this is where I found "The fastlane millionaire" and "Unscripted ", it was the combination of the two, that got me here and got me to really take action. Thank you for that MJ.
But it's not enough to read it, it's not even enough to build your character so you are even fit to be an entrepreneur, you have to provide massive value and that's why I'm here, learning how to do that and if I learned something, help you to do it, too.
Cheers,
SubZero
