Hello @MJ DeMarco (thank you for saving my life) and all the other fastlaners AND welcome to my first post!
I joined at the end of 2023 (before the forum became paid), but I didn’t really have time for the forum anyway because I started working on my idea and smoothly burned out.
Then I went to work to earn money, take a break, and collect my thoughts. I worked for 5 months and planned to stay longer because the money was good, but surprise-surprise – my boss had other plans. Lies were told, and I made the decision to leave. That’s when I truly realized how bad it is to give control of your life to someone else. I didn’t see it coming at all. Unfortunately, it wasn’t FTE.
Anyway.
I have 8 years of entrepreneurship experience, but I would use that term very lightly. Yes, I have my own company, but it has always been a side hustle, and I created a job for myself. Zero automation, and I earn as much as orders come in. It’s not scalable, and honestly, I’m fed up. This product/idea actually came from the family business, and I was just the youngest (I have three older brothers) and needed to make money.
I wanted to share a link to my website to show my product, but this isn’t allowed.
A few days ago, I spoke to someone smarter than me, and even they didn’t see much potential in my product. Even if there were sales, the market is too small, and there’s no point in wasting energy on an idea that only offers small buckets of learning opportunities. It reminds me of "Life's Gumball Machine":
What am I currently up to?
Right now, I’m taking it slow. I’m avoiding the mistakes of last year and gradually moving forward with a new idea (more on that later). I’m working on my beliefs because many myths from the family business have been instilled in me (remember, I’m the youngest, and older people are automatically authorities), and it’s pretty hard to get rid of them in just a few months when they’ve been hammered into my head for decades:
Why did I only now decide to contribute to the forum?
By doing so, I’m changing my environment, and maybe I’ll even find lifelong friends.
Thank you for reading my introduction story. I don't like introducing myself and English isn't my native language.
Wishing you all success!

Similar outcome pool: Mostly whites, some oranges, many reds, and few golds. Stock-market crash? Red. Lost your job? Red. Laid off? Red. Health suffering because of too much work and too little pay? Red.”

- The customer is king and can treat you however they want.
- You must accept all customers.
- Advertising is unnecessary, my work speaks for itself.
- I’d better spend all my profits; otherwise, I’ll lose them.
- Don’t hire employees; they’re always problematic.
- Never cooperate with competitors; they’ll steal your clients.
- And the biggest: you can't charge more than your competitors, clients doesn't buy!
