Hey MJ,
Quick question regarding the Internet as an InterstateFastlane…To go down an internet road, how much of a web design / HTML techniciando you have to be without losing the leverage of delegating to specializedtechnicians?
For example, I am definitely above average regardingcomputer and web design proficiency. Over the past 2 years, I have built decentWordpress based websites using Thesis Themes that make some oney and I have experienceadding audio and video to the sites as well. Further, I have used Coffee Cup WYSIWYG/HTMLeditor for smaller sites. In other words, I am doing ok with web design at asmall level.
However, if I want to build a web based Fastlane businessthat approaches scale like Amazon.com (just an example) how far should I takethe technical proficiency before it becomes overkill? At the same time you don’twant to be at the mercy of a technician / programmer either…especially if itbecomes a big success?
Since you went down the internet fastlane road and you are self-taught,I would imagine you can prescribe the correct amount of proficiency someoneshould aim for to create a balance between proficiency and leveraging humanresources.
Once again…great book man!
Thanks
Brad
