Yo Yo Yo!
My name's Robin, 23 years old and I'm from Belgium. I wanted to make this post to say thank you to MJ for the great book! I hope I can contribute a lot to this forum in the future. Here's a bit about myself.
Where I'm at:
I currently work in a big supermarket in my village. The job sucks, it sucks so bad it's starting to get funny. Long (early) hours, lifting heavy objects and dealing with shit from customers ( sometimes literally ). If there's one thing I wouldn't want to be doing for the rest of my life it's this.
BUT
There's a positive side to the job. I'm learning to deal with customers, my social skills have improved, I live 10 minutes away and I'm earning money. Oh and supermarkets are like MILF Disneyland. I can have some fun, right?
I'm currently doing affiliate marketing, which I'm not too successful at. It feels more like money chasing than giving value, but again I'm learning a ton of stuff. Copywriting, webdesign, ppc, seo, marketing, all things that I know will come in handy later on.
Where I want to be:
My ultimate goal is to create an online business that exceeds people's expectations. I want to find an unfulfilled need and give so much value it makes people a little uncomfortable. Looking at my current job I know it feels good when you can solve a problem and make a customer happy. I can already imagine how it would feel solving a need shared by millions. I'm currently trying to find that unfulfilled need. It's frustrating but I know I'll find a good idea that I can execute.
If I have to give you a number it would be this: €50 million by January first 2018.
I'm stubborn enough to keep trying and creative enough to make this shit work. I want a life full of experiences. When I die I want to be able to look back and be proud, not ashamed. I want to be able to do things that I want, not the things that some douche bag in a suit tells me to do.
Ultimately I want freedom.
