I am only halfway through the book and my mind is already blown.
I was already intrigued about entrepreneurship from reading the 4HWW and I was introduced to the importance of owning assets in Kiyosaki's book. However, the TMF is the ONLY book that motivated me to take action.
My background
I am 25, born in France and currently living in Ottawa (any Ottawans on the forum?). I graduated last year with a Masters in Business Administration.
My current situation
Currently I am out of work and I will eventually have to grab a job in order to pay rent. But the few experiences I had working at companies and reading the TMF made me realize how ridiculous the slowlane is. I will do EVERYTHING I can to build money-generating assets in my free time.
My primary goal is not necessarily to make money in order to buy luxury cars, but rather to never have to trade my time for money again. Being able to live my life on my own terms would already make me very happy.
Entrepreneurship
I don't have much experience yet and I definitely haven't tried enough. A few months ago, I started a webmarketing project with a friend and we failed because I wasn't able to generate leads (I outsourced the cold-calling to odesk). I learnt a lot about management, outsourcing and cold-calling.
I am really motivated to work on another business model and stick to it until it generates money.
Anyways, thanks MJ for opening my eyes so much, and I am looking forward to participating in this forum.
