I want to adapt an existing product and make it available to a new market.
The existing product, a hydraulic table lift, is in industrial equipment. There are a couple of manufacturers, as you can see on the pricing table in the link. Global Industrial, the distributor, is included, but it's really a private label. Someone else actually makes it. I just confirmed this with customer support.
That's what I'm curious about. How can I figure out who's making their stuff behind the scenes?
So, how can one determine manufacturers behind private-label goods? I'm sure there isn't any one sure-fire way, but I'm curious if more experienced people have any tips.
