I believe you can measure a lot.
What's difficult to measure is your mindset, and having the right mindset is a very important part of becoming succesful.
Entrepreneurship is a personality, and the development of your own personality isn't really measureable.
Or is it?
I always get a kick when people tell me how much I changed or how good I am looking.
It's great to hear how good I am looking because I take efford to work on my health, my fitness and my stress.
December 2011 I joined this forum. I was still in school and my mindset was far from optimal.
The whole entrepreneurial thing was also new to me.
I did had my own shop when I was 8 selling sea shells.
I was in a band which made us learn a lot about marketing without really knowing it.
But, I never did a start up and I never really had start up ideas like buying something cheap and selling it for more.
At some point I became the typical rat racer, going to college, finishing with high grades.
I learned about the fastlane in 2011 and was still in school. I really wanted to finish school too.
I now finished school, with good grades and I am almost in a position where I will get a job as a junior account manager for a ICT company.
This has been two years now, and I have no idea how to measure my progression.
The facts:
- Finished school
- Starting in a junior position at a company
How do you measure if you are really making progress towards building your own company / life ?
How do you seperate your positive attitude from where you are realisticly?
