How I Made Nearly $10,000 in Just A Few Days
Woo hoo, a "nutz-and-bolts" post!
As I posted several days ago, I opened a position on GLD (Gold) because it looked ripe for a climb.

Here is a post detailing the HOW and WHY ... mainly, how did I know to buy? And then to sell?
Here is the chart. The black line that slices thru the 3 graphs is the point of my buy. My buy was based on 3 technical factors.
1) Bollinger Band (BB) lower cross/touch (The BB's are the red lines)
2) RSI reversal (2nd chart)
3) Money Flow reversal (3rd chart)
I then sold when the price crossed into the upper BB. A more riskier approach would have been to wait for one of the other 2 to reverse. A stock can ride the upper BB for awhile, however, I wanted to lock in the quick gain. The day after I sold, the price rocketed another 1.4% (Costing a missed profit of another $3,000!!)
If you look at the price history, the proper sell signal at the other run up with a BB touch with an RSI reversal.
