(I'm trying to figure out who this guy is)

"The broadcasters convention, we were talking and you mentioned you knew some people who could finance businesses. Do you still have those connections?"

"Are you sure it was me? I've never been to a broadcasters convention."

"Then it must have been the CES." (9 months ago) "Whatever. Do you still have the connections?"
