Started reading a post by a marketer I respect and instantly thought of Mj and the fastlane. Here it is for your own reading pleasure. I'm off to read the rest of it now.

Let’s face it; there are a lot of fake entrepreneurs out there. Sometime over the past twenty years it became in vogue to start your own business and be your own boss. A lot of this has to do with the internet revolution. Barriers to entry in starting your own venture went way down. Now anybody with an internet connection can start an international business, seemingly overnight. Along with the rise of the internet there have been a flood of books published extolling the virtues of being an entrepreneur and working for yourself. Although slightly different in their message, the Rich Dad Poor Dad Series and The Four Hour Work Week are two prominent examples of this. Entrepreneurship has started to be glamorized. In turn, many people have started to call themselves entrepreneurs, when in reality they have nothing more than an idea or some off-the-shelf business opportunity.
