Hey Guys,

I wanted to start a thread to discuss how to get the most money out of each Real Estate sale.

If you've got your house priced right, ideally you might encounter multiple offers on the property. The problem is that most of the time you're going to get an offer on it right away that has a short response date on the contract, and you're going to have to accept or reject the contract quickly before others have a chance to view the property and submit their offers.

Anybody have any suggestions on how to keep a deal more open ended so that you can maybe collect 2-3 offers in a 2-3 week timeframe, as opposed to having to accept or reject right away?

It seems like when I deal with buying REO's from banks, they have this down to a science. I think they usually take a week to respond to any offers purposely, so they can wait to see if they get any more than just yours....
