Hello fellow fastlaners,
I am a 27 year old man from Brazil, about to get a Metallurgical Engineering degree within the next 6 months.
I have read the book and found the concepts really insightful, some are quite simple and somewhat obvious but the main idea "People don´t care what you love doing, if you want to make a lot of money you need to solve the problems of a lot of people" was something that had never ocurred to me, and it makes absolute sense.
For some time during the near future I will be working to acquire the funds to actually start my own business.
It´s been a few months already that I´ve finished reading the book and after that I started having it constantly (somewhat) in my mind to try and see these opportunities but until now nothing stroke me as “wow, what a wonderful untapped market this isâ€. But the thing is it is not that the chances aren´t there, it is me myself that probably don´t have the skills well developed to see them.
Now my real question is:
How do you go about identifying profitable opportunities/problems people have that I could address and make money?
How do you get better/fine-tune your senses at actually spotting these opportunities?
