One of the ideas I've been thinking about pursuing is manufacturing a line of products. I have some idea of what would be required to sort out production/contract manufacturing and then distribution and sales on the other end.
The hang up I have is figuring out how to deal with supporting a manufacturer warranty, providing repair services, and handling returns, etc. when first starting out. I'm looking for ideas on how one might go about doing this without investing in the infrastructure up front. How could I do this without quitting my day job until the sales volume is there to support it?
