I think here are many similar to me - running already couple businesses and seeing potential possibilities ""shiny objects"" in different places.
A bit of history I started 2006 in website business and then added advertising agency services to it. Around 2008 converted to work mostly within E-Commerce and then have been doing e-commerce in various ways (own shops / consulting / partnership..).
During the e-commerce times have build up multiple SaaS services from own/customer needs (all related to e-commerce).
Have shifted from project/hourly based contracts more to partnership/revenue share model in e-commerce side but now wondering "what to do when I grow up". Hourly work is not generally attractive at all (no scaling).
The SaaS businesses are intended for growing but relatively still small (~1500 merchants) market - it is also possible to expand them for Shopify etc but then of course there is much more competition/similar services available. My assumption is that this software will grow in market share and that's why I went "all in" with this software in my consulting projects (no Shopify/WooCommerce etc).
From consulting clients have found couple bigger partnership deals which are great as there is no upper limit for the cashflow/revenue. BUT they of course also take a lot of time and need continuous attention. Also as it is some level partnership, it is not fully in my control.
I'd like to get ideas how I should judge the businesses to continue with and what to shoot down? I have already outsourced many things, currently running team of 10 people total and all the time trying to outsource more from myself.
Guys and girls - give your two cents?
