First and foremost I would like to introduce myself. My name is Pete and I have recently read most of the Millionaire Fastlane (I forgot my book with 50 pages to go on a bus). I have also moved out of my country in search of better employment and opportunities. This was decided before I read the book, however, the idea and moving became more entertaining and exciting once I read MJ’s story and made the move more comforting.
Turns out the move was a good idea and with a month of being somewhere new I have become good friends with my roommate, who is a sales gun and marketing consultant. I too am in sales but in biotech with the intentions on going to medical school next year. We have recently combined forces, with him grabbing our first contract to sell discounted services for a large car servicing company. He has been involved in d2d sales for awhile but there is obviously more money to be made with online selling and I would like to take this product there.
We are tossing around ideas and are setting up our own website. However, for immediate sales we will be doing d2d to pay for the rent. Our contract is good for 300K profit, so the faster we make sales the faster we become on track for the overall goal here.
I am seeking ideas at the moment and researching the best methods for this product. I have been toying with the notion of going to Groupon and related websites, however, 50% of profits are ultimately handed over. Newspaper ads are in the making for the Asian market, with the ads being in different languages. We have also posted free ads on websites, however, they have not brought in many sales. So if anyone has a few ideas and ones we should avoid my ears are open. Thank you for your time it is greatly appreciated.
