Sup.
I've been reading How To Win Friends and Influence People, and there was an article about George Eastman (the Kodak's founder). It was how he invented his camera length at nights, working on days as clerk, trying to meet the needs of his family "taking only short naps while the chemicals were working".
And it struck me.
Before Eastman, there was no video films. What I mean is - just realize how much is there left to invent. Infinitely! And what I asked myself was: "What does not exist in our world that our children will use?"
I wrote out 20 ideas - not for the sake of "business", but for the sake of inventing and making the world a better place - the future.
In one of my threads some have suggested that I need to get a provisional patent first, but I am as broke as Eastman once was, and I do want to have a discipline to not ruin my life because someone else has just taken the idea up. (although I trust you like no one else, essentially)
It is a big appliance for consumer electronics. As big as a dishwasher or a washing machine, perhaps. But it is so awesome! I mean, it literally [redacted]!
Alright, anyway. How does one validate an product invention... idea (bleh)? I can't say, because it is no SaaS, nor B2B, where something is directly useful. It is almost like Kodak's film - it is just great. (and big)
Should I just start executing? Should I go around and ask people if this thing is useful?
Anyway, I am going to lay down first writedowns, and I'll wait for your responses.
Cheers!
P.S. For those searching, remember - there is literally an infinite amount of problems that can be solved. Ask yourself what differs us from future, what hinders us, and you'll be golden.
Best of luck.
